If you are thinking of selling your property at Smith Mountain Lake, Kendra KNOWS the lake!! She truly is superb amongst the rest of the competition. She cares about you and we saw this the entire transaction. We have been a part of The Water's Edge community and we're sad to leave.  The Porter's present themselves well and represent the SML community. Clearly she has experience with the waterfront/luxury marketplace, although she will invite anyone to work with them no matter the price. She brings qualified buyers and negotiates well with the other side. This was important to us as we did not just want foot traffic. She communicates effectively and offers quality service.  In less then a week, she brought us top dollar for our property (competing offers). That allowed us the financial freedom to purchase what we wanted out of state. The lake is a difficult undertaking for any realtor. We have had  a few in the past that we were not satisfied with as they did not put as much effort or thought into selling and they did the minimum to try and sell it. Yes the market is hot now but we still feel as though Kendra actually earned her compensation. She knew our home, the exact dimensions of our lot, water depth, and how far our our jet ski lift needed to be move in prior to AEP (coming to tell us the same. THEY KNOW THE LAKE! Kendra knew how to negotiate through the multiple offers to help us select which would benefit us the most.  Buyers that travel here to partake in the lake life need an agent they can depend on and trust to find them the very best match. We only wish we could have flown her out to help us find the right property across the country. Look no further if you are selling your property at Smith Mountain Lake.
